PreSonus brings the power of a large production console to small-format digital mixing with 4 new models

PreSonus has announced a 2019 update to the Series III digital mixer family. The four new models bring the power of a large production console to small-format digital mixing.  Stock will be available in Australia from mid May.

The StudioLive 32S, 32SX, and 32SC each offer 40 mixing channels, 26 buses, and 286 processors in three form factors. The StudioLive 32S provides 32 local preamps in a 33-fader frame for one-to-one mix control. The 32SX delivers the same complement of local I/O as the 32S but in a 25-fader, low-profile, space-saving frame. The 32SC squeezes its 32-channel mixing and processing power into a rack-mountable, road-ready frame with 16 local preamps and 17 faders that can be easily expanded to a full 32 channels by adding a single NSB 16.8 stage box.

The new StudioLive 64S is the flagship mixer, providing 76 mixing channels, 43 busses and 526 simultaneous effects. Powered by the PreSonus FLEX DSP Engine, they feature state-space modeled Fat Channel plug-in processing on every input and bus; up to 32 FlexMix buses that can be individually configured as Aux, Matrix, or Subgroup buses; and flexible digital patching unparalleled in this price class. SL64 delivers 128-channel (64x64) USB recording —more than any other mixer —plus multitrack SD card recording and extensive 128-channel AVB networking.

With 128 (64x64) channels of recording over USB, you can record every input channel and bus on your StudioLive 64S for the ultimate recording rig. Each channel can independently access its analogue input or its dedicated digital return from your computer. Ten vintage EQ and classic compressor Fat Channel plug-in models are included and can be used onboard your mixer, as well as within Studio One. And when you’re ready for more signal processing options, PreSonus offers four Fat Channel plug-in collections with 15 additional models. Fat Channel plug-ins can be inserted on every input channel and output bus, giving you extensive, studio-style processing while mixing and recording.
