Multitrack Recorders

Multitrack recorders allow you to record anywhere from 2 - 24 tracks of audio independently of a computer based recording system. Multitrack recorders have built-in storage, or ports for flash memory devices such SD cards to record on to. Professionals recording live shows and even location recording, may find multitrack recorders more useful than recording into a computer. Multitrack recorders are also great for musicians in home studios used to the workflow of tape-based 4 and 8-track systems. Most models will have USB connectivity for data transfers for further editing in a DAW, however multitrack recorders are designed to be an all-in-one solution, featuring FX and processing for mixing and editing too.
