Avantone CK-1 Small-Capsule FET Pencil Microphone
The Avantone Pro CK-1 is a small diaphragm condenser “pencil” microphone with interchangeable capsules. It is part of the Avantone C series, or Cabernet with their distinctly deep red finish, and durable construction. Made from machined brass, the CK-1 has a -10dB attenuation pad and 80Hz roll off. The included three capsules capture in cardioid, hyper-cardioid and omni directional polar patterns. The Avantone Pro CK-1 is an extremely elegant and diverse microphone. Sounds fantastic on snare, Hi-Hats, overheads and an all-round good performer for spot-miking solo instruments.
