The RODE NT2000 is an exceptional multi-pattern large diaphragm studio condenser microphone, with a street value under 1000. It features a continuously variable polar pattern, with three marked settings of Omnidirectional, cardidoid, figure-8 and anywhere in-between. The NT2000 also has a variable frequency dial, cutting from 40 - 150Hz, and a pad switch, that can attenuate up to 10dB. The NT2000 will do a great job on anything that it’s in front of, making it a very versatile studio mic that includes a hard plastic case and shock mount too.
