Deep Lows, Rich Mids, Smooth Highs 

The WA-47 tube condenser microphone captures deep bass without coloration in the low end. The midrange on the WA-47 is rich and detailed with a wide sonic signature. The highs are present but smooth, rounding out a mic that captures many sources with authority like drums, vocals,
pianos, upright bass, acoustic guitar, piano and much more.

K47-Style Capsule Recreation

The custom K47-style capsule in the WA-47 is a true reproduction of the large, dual-diaphragm K47-style capsule found in the original U47 mic. This capsule captures authentic analog detail across the 20Hz-20kHz frequency response. True-To-Original Spec Transformer

The WA-47 is built with a custom, true-to-original spec TAB (AMI) transformer that delivers the same performance of transformers found in vintage original 47 tube mics. The sweet sonic character of the WA-47 would not be possible
without the amazing, historically-correct transformer supplied by TAB-Funkenwerk.

Premium Tube & Capacitors

The premium 5751 vacuum tube in the WA-47 delivers true analog tone with exceptionally low gain and (11dBA) self-noise. Premium polystyrene, WIMA, and Solen French capacitors are used throughout the WA-47 circuit, providing the excellent signal conversion that this circuit demands.

Premium Swiss 7-Pin Gotham Cable

The WA-47 uses a custom GAC-7 7-pin cable from Gotham, Switzerland. The design and build quality of this cable increases top end presence and the overall size of the
recorded image in the stereo field by reducing phase shift and the parasitic effect often found in poorly built cables.
