The Neumann M 150 Tube is a large diaphragm tube condenser microphone with an omnidirectional polar pattern. The M 150 is derivative of the historical Neumann M 50 developed in the 1950s. The M 150 Tube has since developed a similar reputation to the M 50 as being a first choice microphone for orchestral recordings - especially string ensembles. Although the M 150 Tube has maintained the original grille design of the M 50, it boasts a redesigned capsule made from titanium. The M 150’s sound reproduction is open, warm and incredibly detailed. The Neumann M 150 Tube ships with the KT8 aluminium case, EA170 shock mount and the N 149 power supply.
