The Universal Audio UAD-2 Satellite USB OCTO Core gives you 8 x SHARC DSP processors to run the maximum amount of Universal Audio’s UAD Powered Plug-Ins within your Window’s based DAW. Building on the success of the UAD-2 Thunderbolt Satellites’ for Mac, Universal Audio have made Windows only UAD-2 Satellites operating off the USB 3.0 protocol. If you are after as much DSP as possible, but don’t want to spend too much on the software just yet, then this is the best option for you. Plug-ins can be purchased at a later date directly from the Universal Audio online store.
