Notify me when this product is available:

The LCT 840 by Lewitt is a premium, externally polarised tube studio microphone. Ideal choice for capturing subtitles and nuances in vocals in particular - given its very low self noise for a tube mic. Also great on a range of acoustic instruments. It offers a warm and detailed sound, and has 5 selectable fixed polar patterns. Other settings include attenuation pads and three different low frequency roll off filters.

    • Lewitt LCT 840 PRODUCT FEATURES:

      WARM & CLASSIC VINTAGE SOUND
      Classic microphone with modern features:

The LCT 840, equipped with a precision-engineered 1" capsule, stands for exceptionally warm and classic tube sound. It offers highly nuanced and authentic sound reproduction in the studio and even onstage. 5 switchable polar patterns, 3 low-cut settings, and 3 pre-attenuations settings make the LCT 840 a highly versatile tool.

      Honest tube sound
The dual triode 12AX7 tube delivers a warm and comforting sound with smooth high frequencies while still preserving the ability to cut through the mix. Low self-noise and high dynamic range exemplify how the LCT 840 is vintage design brought into the present.

The future of vintage | Innovation and heritage brought together:
The LCT 840 is like its country of origin, Vienna, Austria - a mixture of old and new, traditional heritage and high-tech. We love rich tube sound, we and we love modern design. Combining them both in the LCT 840 is a dream come true for all recording professionals.

Remote control unit | Illuminated user interface:
The illumination of the user interface makes possible a quick and accurate setup of pattern, pre-attenuation and low-cut - so even in total darkness it is easy to check or change the settings on the remote power supply unit.
