Hydrasynth is an 8 voice, 3 Oscillator mono-timbral synth, with twin filters (modeled), 5 Envelopes, 5 LFOs, Delay, Reverb and a selectable pre and also final effect (several algorithms) FX are also able to be incorporated into the 32 slot mod matrix. Hydrasynth desktop shares the same engine with the keyboard but dispensed the Polytouch keyboard and the user-assignable ribbon controller in favour of 24 velocity and polyphonic aftertouch sensitive pads.
One problem with many desktop or rack synths is that you usually have to connect them to an external controller to play them. The idea behind having a rack or desktop unit you can put anywhere is that it is out of the way. This is fine until you want to start doing some sound editing or adjusting it in real-time. Then you want a way to play it.
We have included 24 polyphonic pressure sensitive pads that allow you to actually play the synth. With multiple pad layouts to choose from as well as multiple scales, playing the Hydrasynth Desktop is its own musical experience.

This kit responds very well from ghost notes to hard hits, the kit is very solid and can take hard playing, I'm happy with the samples in the module as well as getting the BFD player as well, I'm using the kit at church as well as jamming and everyone says it sounds great!
